We find lessons in unlikely places don’t we. We have recently come across the two little English girls, Sophia Grace and Rosie, who are taking the US by storm on the Ellen Degeneres show. Sophia Grace is 8 and Rosie is 5 and they appear regularly on the show in tutus and tiaras to sing and chat about pop stars.
I think it’s unlikely but hopefully all this fame won’t spoil them. They are charming, funny and polite but importantly for us, and the lesson here is that they are THEMSELVES. Particularly Sophia Grace, who is uber confident whilst staying this side of charming. She has the confidence that comes from being unself-conscious; something that as we get older stops us from just being ourselves.
